Experienced integrative Counsellor
(trauma informed and Internal Family Systems informed)
I am here to help you regulate your emotions and feel better in life, and will tailor what I offer in order to meet your needs.
I use a range of counselling methods that include art and creativity, nature connection, mind body connection, inner parts work, psychological education and mindfulness. Compassion is a value that I hold at the heart of my counselling work. When appropriate I work in an Internal Family Systems informed way that helps to identify and give voice to parts of us that have previously been shut down or unacknowledged. This is a very gentle and powerful technique that helps to shift stuckness to old patterns, bringing your entire Self into the present.
Underpinned by the 3 core conditions of counselling (Empathy, Congruence and Unconditional Positive Regard) I offer a safe and welcoming space for us to work at a pace that feels manageable to you.
I am inspired by nature which has helped me throughout my life to feel connected and safe in the world, providing a deep understanding of way all things are connected - including us!
